Refund Policy

Afterblast LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FloodMaps service. We want you to understand exactly how our billing, refunds, and cancellations work before you purchase a report or subscribe to our service.

1. Premium Report Purchases

FloodMaps provides instant access to proprietary, digitally generated flood risk reports.

  • All Sales Are Final: Because our product is a digital good delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once a Premium Report has been generated for a property.
  • Accuracy Expectations: As outlined in our Legal & Data Disclaimers, the reports are for informational purposes only. We do not issue refunds based on a user's disagreement with the automated findings, the historical data presented, or the AI-generated analysis.

2. Technical Failures & Exceptions

We stand by the functionality of our platform. If you encounter a critical technical error where your payment is processed but the system fails to generate or deliver your report, please contact our support team immediately.

  • We will investigate the system log for your transaction.
  • If a verified technical failure occurred on our end, we will either manually generate and provide your report or issue a full refund at our sole discretion.

3. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

As we expand the FloodMaps platform, we may offer ongoing subscription plans. The following terms apply to all recurring subscriptions:

  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard.
  • No Prorated Refunds: If you cancel your subscription before the end of your current billing cycle, your cancellation will take effect at the end of that cycle. You will retain access to the subscription features until that time. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods on Unlimited packages.
  • Modifications: If you upgrade or downgrade your subscription tier, the new rate will be applied to your next billing cycle.

4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

  • We respectfully request that you contact us first to resolve any billing issues.
  • In the event of a chargeback filed without prior communication, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account and block future access to the FloodMaps service.
  • Fraudulent chargebacks for reports that were successfully generated and delivered will be contested using our system logs and these agreed-upon terms.

5. Unlimited Packages & Reasonable Use

Unlimited Report packages are designed for individual or small-team use and are subject to reasonable usage limits. Afterblast LLC reserves the right to monitor usage patterns and, at its sole discretion, to throttle, suspend, or terminate access for any account that exhibits usage patterns reasonably deemed to be excessive, abusive, or inconsistent with normal individual or small-team use. Examples of prohibited usage under Unlimited packages include, but are not limited to, automated or scripted bulk report generation, systematic data harvesting, and usage patterns suggesting resale or redistribution of report data. If your access is limited under this provision, you may contact support to discuss your use case.
